Hello! I'm Elias and I like to help create art with math :)
I have a deep interest in game development pipelines and a strong ability to communicate and cooperate between disciplines. I’m extremely curious, eager to learn, and I love to help others.
My favorite aspects of game development are: supporting and working with other disciplines to streamline their pipelines, creating impressive shaders that are optimized for efficency, making real-time environmental/character VFX that can spice up a game, and procedural generation that allows for iterative and modular workflows.
From a young age I have always been fascinated by video games, my first one being Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. A fond memory I have with that game was me being stuck on a boss fight against Palpatine. I had attempted to beat it many times by myself but could not do it. That was until my Dad had surprised me with an extra PS3 controller and helped me beat it together. It was very poetic in hindsight considering we were playing as Luke and Vader respectively. This cemented my love for games and as the years passed I the thought "what if I could make a game?" grew stronger untill I eventually committed to start my path of game development.
My journey in game development began in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Stockholm University. During that time I was not sure what role I wanted to pursure in the game industry and was stuck between programming and 3D art. Eventually I discovered Technical Art and fell in love with it immediately. I spent my free time at University absorbing as much knowledge as I could about shaders, VFX and tooling. This passion led me to continue honing my skills at The Game Assembly in Malmö.
